Hello all,

We went to Lexus @ Smithtown (Long Island, NYC) and got a quote price for 2010 RX350 with Nav, Comfort, 19 inches wheel, Entertainment Packages for $47500 before any real negotiation.

I think $47K is a reason price, but not sure how low I will be able to go (realistically)

Any help with be appreciated

Navi, Comf, 19", RSES for MSRP $47.5K? No Prem? No others?

This is quite special combo if comparing with what Lexus was commonly offering between May and Aug. Can I say this combo is still rare? If so, you might not have too much room for the negotiation??

In NY/NJ areas, I'd say the regular combos (18", Prem, Navi/Non-Navi, Comf/Non-Comf) will usually get $3-4.5K off from the MSRP.


Do you consider to try other dealers in LI?

 

hmm... Our only requirement is Nav and Ent packages for 2010 RX350 AWD, dont really care or have need for other stuffs but I guess they come standard with Ent package ...

We will check out Rallye in Great Neck as well, and see what they are offering ...

Can I assume $47K will be the good walk out of the door price + tax?

BTW, any one know if 2011 RX350 will be out by end of the year, maybe I should wait for it...?

Almost impossible to have RX11 in the end of 2009. Lexus RX has made 2 model changes in 2009. If Lexus tries to make 3rd change, something wrong with this prestigious company, perhaps, they should put back its Toyota logo on all the cars. IMHO.


What's the MSRP for this car you got quote from Smith?

 

Well, I agree a new model this year would be too much. However, a free software upgrade is certainly in order!

 

I got 4.5K below MSRP (sticker was ~48k) , when he wouldn't budge anymore on the price I got crossbars and a remote starter thrown in - Still not sure I got a good deal but I turned in a clunker worth 1k and got $4500 for it - so that made me feel better
