whatever brand Lexus uses.

it's under warranty and I let them do it. If they screw up the engine, they can replace it.

All good comments & points. I had not previously considered getting the Toyota brand oil, but will look into it.

I bought 8 single quart bottles of Mobil 1 0W20 from my local Walmart today for $6.52 each. Both of my local Lexus dealers wanted $8.xx for the Lexus brand. The oil is so hard to find, it's crazy.

I called Walmart today before arriving at the store to check if they had it in stock. The guy on the phone said they had three 5-Quart jugs and those eight 1-Quart bottles I bought later. When I came to the store a few hours later, the guy informed me that somebody else came literally less than an hour before me and bought all of the 5-Quart jugs! The thing about 5-Quart jugs is that each quart is only $5.

O'reilly Auto parts is selling Mobil1 0W-20 for $4.99 each quart. I think the promo is until month end. At $4.99, it is cheaper than Walmart and Sewell OE Toyota oil.

FYI - just got back from Walmart...they now sell 5qt jugs of the Mobil1 0w-20 for $24.50. That's their everyday price, so don't have to wait for a sale. I was just there 2 months ago looking and there was no shelf space for this oil, so they just started recently stocking it.

I don't know if Sewell are allowed to ship liquids, but I'll ask them about that. I usually use Pembroke Pines Lexus in Florida(highly recommend them) for all my needs, but they can't ship the oil.

The closest O'Reilly around me is in Virginia, and they don't sell oil online.

As others have mentioned, Wal_Mart carries the Mobil 1 0W-20 at $ 6.52/qt. or $ 24.50 per jug. I was there this morning and they had no jugs left, only the quart containers.
I am under the impression that they do stock much of the 0W-20 at any one time, or it sells out very quickly.

At our local Costco, they do not carry either the 0W-20 or 5W-20 oil.

As a side note, for those that perform their own oil changes on some of their vehicles, Amazon has a good buy on the PureOne oil filters @ $ 5.00 each, and then Purolator has an on-going rebate to get $ 3.00 return for the same filters; so, a $ 2.00 net price per filter. These go fast on Amazon as they are rated pretty high in most reviews. I picked up a few for my Acura TL.

Mobil 1 is the only one with 5 quart jugs, and the demand is pretty high. So it's just being sold out really fast. Pennzoil also has 1 quart bottles, but the price is the same as Mobil's

Amazon.com carries Mobil 1 0W-20 pack of 6 with free shipping. Not sure about their supply...

Pep Boys is currently selling 5 quarts of Mobil 1 and a Mobile 1 oil filter for $27.99. Mobile 1 does not make oil filter for RX 350, but I pick up an oil filter for my other vehicle.
