Default Pre-Collision System / Adaptive Cruise

I'm looking to buy a 2011 RX 350, and the dealer tells me the only way to get PCS/Adaptive cruise is to special order.

Did anyone find a car with PCS in stock anywhere?

I was looking for that too and the dealer did a nation wide search and came up with nothing. I was told by the Lexus dealer here that it needs to be a special/custom order.

Well, I guess that answers it.

Wife wants her car now.

No PCS for me...

We were told special order too...now that we have it we think the special order for Dynamic cruise is well worth the wait especially if you take long road trips. We had the same problem when looking for an RX...we ordered it exactly how we wanted it.

Conversely, dynamic laser cruise control is not for congested areas. The RX just keeps slowing down as cars get in front to the point of rendering it useless even at the greatest distance. I can't use mine very often. As far as PCS, let's just hope nobody has to use it to comment on its worthiness.

Thought that I would like it but could not get it with all the other things that I add to my RX. It would have been nice to have it on the long road trips. (Orlando 8hr away)

Default PCS / Adaptive cruise

Had the PCS activated once in a panic stop - it worked very well - gave me a lot of reassurance.

Adaptive or radar cruise works well I find - we drive coast to coast every year. However, it is a gas hog - mph drops about 30%.
