Default Strange Traction Control Occurrence

My LS460 is in the shop for the valve spring recall. When I dropped off the car they gave me a 2011 RX350. That evening I went out to dinner with my wife, daughter, mother in law, and father in law. While heading to dinner we had to stop hard at a red light. The strange thing is when the RX came to a complete stop the traction control light came on for about 10 seconds. During this time when I took my foot off of the brake the car wouldnt move. I dont know why it did that. Anyone here with a 2010 or 2011 notice something like this???

that would be the hill start assist.

Come to a complete stop (works at all stops, not just a hill), depress the brake pedal further, and you will hear an audible beep and a blinking traction control light. Goes away when you touch the gas pedal or release the brake pedal for a significant amount of time.

the first time I did it on a loaner (before I realized what I had done and before I bought the car), I thought something was wrong with the car and actually turned off the car at a stop light and restarted. haha

I didn't know that! It's happened to me a couple of times, and I had no idea why the light was blinking. Many thanks!

Hah! That just happened to me yesterday, IN MY GARAGE! I couldn't figure out what was wrong, so restarted the car.

Here's a youtube video explanation and demo... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alAVPP16ZNI

Thank you, SleepySurf for posting this video. Where does one get to see more videos like these on the RX350?

That is good information to know. Which dealership is that that does those videos? I'd love to see more.
