Used RX350?
you should be able to score a base awd + premium package w/ msrp around $44k for around $37k + TTL..
the $2k incentive is good until mid-November and could be extended but at least here in CA, inventories are running low..
also, dealers are not in a hurry to get rid of the used 2010 RX350 as their main objective is to get rid of the new one right now..

To bad came back form my dealership our RX 450h is on the ship right now and will be in port on the 15th and on a truck around the 18th should have it right before Thanksgiving with any luck. Now what rate I can get at the credit union was hopping to get a grate rate from Lexus. The want to get back in the game and get ahead of MB to be number one again.
speaking of interest rate..dealer's finance manager initially offered me 4.99%/60 month loan then tried to push the paint protection package for $2k and claim if we buy the package, he will use one of his limited "rate coupon" to lower our interest rate to 2.5%..
I know both my wife and I have 800+ credit score and 4.99% rate is just an insult..
So I told him we will be back tomorrow to finish the closing and the expression on his face when I showed him the loan document from my bank for 2.65%/60 month was just priceless...lol

there was another thread discussing money factor on leases (basically the interest rate on a car). apparently dealers have the ability to play with these numbers to pocket more money. i knew this existed for financing, but the same holds true for leasing aswell. the key here is to know *all* the numbers before walking into the dealership.
Ask about the Christmas to remember because our RX 450h will be in port on the 15th of this month then a week later it will be here. My credit union has a rate of 3.9 but would love a much lower rate.
Are you guys aware of www.truecar.com? They survey all car purchases and show details. Here is an example of a 2010 RX350 with a stick of $44,750.
My credit union was quoting 3.4% and I told that to the financing guy and he matched it without making a call.

I used truecar.com when pricing my '10 RX 350. I got a "great price" and was more than happy. It also helped that this site informed me about the "dealer cash" that was going on. The salesman started out high but when I laid my cards on the table he had no choice but to beat the price of a different dealer.
Even then I went one up and squeezed another $150 off.
Truecar is definately the way to go.

Thing you RVH but I saw on another post where some one has got a rate of 2.5. Have a call in now with the dealership to see what rates they have now. Shopping for paper just like I was shopping for the car. I will spend money but do not like to waste it.
I am in the midst of buying an SUV for my wife as we are expecting our first child. The RX350 is on top of her list and I was looking for a 2010 to get the best deal. Seems like the 10's are somewhat scarce and I'm getting pushed for an '11.
However, I did find a used lease return, with the following specs:
2010 Lexus RX350 AWD
Premium - Nav - Comfort
It has roughly 7,000 miles on there, so it's used, but practically brand new. I've seen incentives of $7,000 - $8,000 off MSRP for 2010s, but I'm wondering what price I should be expecting for this slightly used model.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

i would shop some other dealers to see what they have left. also be willing to compromise a little on colors and options. i picked up my 2010 for less than their asking price on similarly equipped used models.
I've seen CPO 2010 RX's going for $1,000 more than what I paid for my new one. My neigbor picked one up in Houston for about $200 less than I paid and it had almost 12,000 miles on it.
The car still looked great but it was used. I didn't have the heart to tell him.

Anyone who buys CPO or "New" in Houston, are paying way to much. Both dealers are robbers. They empty the pockets of the elderly. I went up to Dallas and saved $6,000.00 on the same car.
Don't be penny wise and dollar foolish. Of course they call you sir and treat you nice, all the while they turn you upside down and shake you like a salt shaker.
No one should buy without looking at www.truecar.com, Get all the facts before your dealer takes you to the cleaners with a smile.
