It will take a place of your existing USB port.

VaisTech,

I'm in on the new product -- only concern is the ease of installation of it. How does it connect to the car? Does the centre console have to come off along with the stereo?

Thanks,

Nav system will have to come off to connect digital video cable. Audio will be connected right where factory USB unit is, replacing it. To get to factory USB you need to remove the back of the middle console cover, which is very easy to do.

So will the factory unit have a whole new user interface like the one seen in the pictures? Including navigation etc and still have all functionality or is this just for the music/video interface? If so I am in.
One more question: Does it change the interface for the radio portion of the unit also?

Everything you have in the car will work the same (Nav, Setting, CD changer, AM, FM and etc), except for factory USB, which will be replaced with MediaLinQ Plus. ML Plus will offer you a new user interface with our control bar on the right. Using this bar you will be able to control iPod Out functionality, iPod Video Out, Additional A/V input, Dedicated Video Input and Video Out (for RES). New user interface is customizable and as you can see a lot more convenient and easier to use. In case you connect non iOS4 iPod or iPhone, or flash drive/HDD ML Plus will automatically detect it and will switch you to the screen similar to factory USB unit, but without auto select feature.

No, ML Plus doesn't allow Nav control while driving. Regarding the second question, one of the features in ML Plus is to display videos from iPhone on your nav in digital video quality, resolution - HDTV.
