rear hatch no auto open or close

My 09 RX 350 has lost rear hatch auto functioning. won't open with the dash button or close with the tab on the hatch itself. I called a service departmenty, but no info.???

Insist they repair it or take it to another dealer. Bring Lexus Corporate into the picture as well.

Have you checked the button in the glove compartment to make sure the power tailgate was not turned off?

if your RX is a '09, you would probably get better responses if you posted your question on the 2nd gen RX forum. 2010+ RX is 3rd gen RX.
