Looking to replace my 235/55 R19 Bridgestone Desert Duelers with something with a little more grip.

I have had good experiences with Asymetric tyres on previous RX's and I am looking at either Continental ContiCrossContact UHP in 235/55 R19 or Yokohama Advan ST 255/50 R19 as they don't make the standard size. The Yoko's are great tyres based on my past experience.

Does anyone have any experiences with 255/50 R19's on a 2009/2010 RX350?

Will they fit without fouling the steering?

 

255 on 7.5" might have a bit sidewall bulge, but should fit fine.
I don't think the setup would foul the steering.

The vip guys try to stretch 235 on 10" while the suv guys want to put wider tires on narrower rims.
