Also, I have since deleted that particular part of my search history. With that being said, I would rather follow the instructions of the contributors on this forum. You need not go any place else.
Is this the video you are looking for?

LED used [High powered 6k V-LED]

Results - VERY bright puddle lamp.
Thanks for the pictures and post in this old thread as well as the part number. I just ordered the same ones and am going to install these in our 2010 450h when then come in. Looks great. The current puddle lights don't really do too much. We have an X5 that has LED lights under the handles and those are much brighter so this will bring the RX up to par.

Default Puddle light LED bulb replacement ?

Looking to swap out the 194 bulbs like how some of u guys here have done and I have a question regarding the size/length of the LED replacement.... After searching past post it seems the v-LEDs have been best but supply is limited currently out of stock.... On eBay/Amazon there are quite a few newer bulbs out now that are longer (1.72") and guess brighter (7.5 watt/500lum) so just wondering if these will be too powerful (bright) or have an issue with fitment being too long?? TIA!!

Let's try this again.... None of the v-LEDs links open (getting 404 error?/4yr old post) on FAQ's page so if someone can confirm which bulb they have since there's two entirely different looking replacement bulbs listed on their site... One with 4LED flank (white) which I think most have and the other has 6LED 360*(silver)... Assuming both will work since similar in size/length unlike the slightly longer ones available on eBay/Amazon/carID/etcc. Thx!

Here's some info from another Lexus forum.

Seems like a lot of work.

Hope this helps.

Thx john for the link.... There's a few DIY videos here too so hopefully the task won't be too difficult.... My major concern is fitment issues if the longer (1.72") replacement bulbs will have problems clearing the plastic housing of the side mirrors or not..... Trying to go as bright as possible guess will just have to go safe and be status quo like everyone else

I've used these in the puddles on every Lexus I've owned/leased.
Great LEDs.

RC1818, I merged your thread with JDKane's to keep it all together. Joeb was kind enough to post the bulb you'll need from VLEDS. Check earlier posts for instructions. I changed mine 3 1/2 years ago and they're still going strong. And IIRC, VLEDS will send you a discount code if you give them your e-mail address.

Edit: I wanted to mention bulb sizes, with the exception of the puddle lamps and a few others, are listed in the specifications section of the owners manual.

Anita, I believe 'Club Lexus' is a discount code.
