Led puddle lights
Urgh....
I just spend 45 mintues to try to change the puddle light to LED bulbs...following this great DIY:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ts-w-pics.html
I removed the two screws, pry the cover open.....and problem is I am stuck at step 5, I can't seem to pull the whole thing out; not matter how hard i pulled or twist...it just won't come out... it seems like something else is blocking or locking it in.
Does anyone of you did this DIY on your F and ran into any issue?
Thank for helping me!

I think its easier to just pop the mirror out then remove the screws. There are four screws beind the mirror. Top left, bottom left, top right, bottom right. Then it will just come off easily. I did mines and I just followed a DIY too. Took me a while to figure out how to pop the mirror off but you just have to hold the very bottom and pull out and up. Idk if I helped you by any chance.

Exactly..!!
I don't know about that thread, but the glass pops off when done correctly... Then you can remove the 4 Screws.
Here is an example of the process done on an LS460 and just about how I did it on my IS-F.

Just be careful and don't force/ break the mirror..

U dont have to take out the mirror, just using magnetic phillip screw driver 5 inches long should do the job nicely. Just push the mirror each of the corner to get room to uncrew it.. when u done just pull the cover in the back and just use flat head screw driver to help u pop up the clip. That when the light will seperate and swap it always take your time to prevent any unfortunate mishap also jdmtoy has it for sale like 4.95$ a pair of led..

not to bring too far off topic, but how was your transaction with DDM ? Did they ship on time, send timely ?

The only thing is your billing address MUST match shipping address...it cost a bit issue for me since i am in military.... so i had my friend order and ship it to his house.
Other than that, everything went smooth.
I order their Slim HID kit and all the LEDs for my F. Again they might not as bright or high quality as the V-LED, you got what you paid for; For me, it's good enough to get the job done
