I dont know but I will ask the dealer for that question. My 2010 keep on displaying something like the oil maintenance is now due everytime I start it. And we know that they change the first oil change at 10,000 instead of 5,000.
I believe the procedure's the same in all RX'es. If I remember correctly, you set the trip meter to trip A. Turn the car off. Hold the trip reset button while you hit the start button twice (without your foot on the brake). You don't need to start the car, just put it into ignition on mode by hitting the button twice. You'll see it display RESETTING OIL MAINTENANCE DATA in that center display window above the odo/trip meter.
What I am trying to do is set the interval for the oil service light to come on from 5,000 miles to 10,000 miles, as is suggested in this posting:
Do you have Nav? If so you go to setup/vehicle/maintenance. There you enter the info to update the reminder. I noticed you can set the reminder to 10k for the new oil change interval. You can also turn the reminder off, permanently.

I do not have nav.
There's no way to do what you want to do, and the NAV maintenance setting is just setting up a tickler reminder, as far as I know. I have the NAV and do not use that setup. But it has no effect on the OIL MAINTENANCE DATA display that comes on at a pre-set mileage interval.
