Default Having trouble with Blue Tooth Audio

Just bought a RX350 w/o Navi. I am able to run the Ipod section of my Iphone without problems when connected thru the USB port. However when I run it thru Blue Tooth Audio it works until I change over to Radio or Cd or answer the phone, it then says NOT CONNECTED and I have to physically connect or stop/start the car to get it to work again. Has anyone experienced this I have deleted and readded the Phone and player many times without any help!

Yes, I have had the exact same problem. However, if I receive a call and hang up it usually reconnects.

I had the same problem with my phone. The phone would connect to the bluetooth at first but when I turned the vehicle off and restart it the phone would not connect to the bluetooth. The signal for the bluetooth on the dash is on yet I couldn't use the phone through the carmedia.

After a visit with the dealer the service guy said that you have to program the phone to sync in with the carmedia. He suggested I program the phone by going to options, then bluetooth, then carmedia, then options, device properties, then scroll down to trusted and enter yes.

Now my phone connects automatically to the cars bluetooth everytime I start the car provided the car stereo is on.

Hope this helps.

PSU, I will double checked the phone to see if it reconnects after a call, it does. Looks to me that the audio works while connected to blue tooth until something changes it from BTA.

We have the exact problem I wonder if it is fixed by firmware. I bought a demo that may be an early build from Canada.

Does any body know if they fixed some firmware bugs on the system and how we could check for new firmware revisions?

Joker,

My phone seems to work ok (it is a iphone) my problem is with the Blue Tooth Audio. My problem is exactly the same as PSU's.

I am just wondering if they have the ability to load new firmware to correct problems (that is from my many years in the computer industry, that is how we fixed problems)

Not sure of another solution to your problem but a visit to the Lexus dealer might help.
