Default How to take down Overhead Console?

Hi Fellas,

Does anyone know how to take down the overhead console? You know, the one with the Homelink and Sunroof buttons.

Are there any screws holding it in? Feels very stiff when trying to pull it down. Just keep pulling to take off like the other panels?

Thanks

I want to see if I can improve it. Having the buttons be dark at night time is really starting to tick me off. Although I've learned where the buttons are by now, it annoys me each time of the detail that was missed. So I want to see if those buttons can be lit up. If yes, then I plan on creating my own LED back light to those buttons.

Wow! That would be great! If you succeed, please let the rest of us know how you did it!

Overhead panel is also a good spot to get power for the Passport, allowing high windshield placement!
