Yes, I've found the guys who install for Pohanka and Lindsey in Northern Virginia. By going thru them you will get the whole sale price - not the dealer price. Same quaility and warranty as you would get from the dealer. Hope this helps.

Can you let me know the name? One guy quoted me ~950 for bumper, side mirrors and 20inches of the bonnet and additional 300 for rear bumper

The dealer in Mass where I just bought my 08 GX wanted $999 for Ventureshield - I declined. I did the hood of my RX a few years ago and it came out good. The mirrors not so good. The curves are tricky.

I found 2 web sites where you can purchase the same 3M Venture Shield the dealers push for about $700 + tax. I purchased a kit with the pieces pre-cut for my Mercedes CLK430 as an experiment to see how I could do before I tried on my new RX. It costs from $250 to over $400 for the Rx kit depending on how many components you order. My first experience has not been good. No matter how much careful effort I took, the largest piece for the hood ended up with with some wrinkles where I had to stretch over shart curves, as well as bubbles from water. If you have a new Rx, you might consider paying an experienced installer. It's a long process for an inexperienced installer (me) and I will not attempt it on my Rx. Ideally you might find a guy at the Lexus dealer and get him to do it direct for you for a couple hundred.

Some installers also have machines that actually cut out the pieces for your car, so you get an custom fit. Less time spent for manual cutting. Plus they've done the installation hundreds of times and have the patience and, of course, experience.

imho, machine cut (or pre-cut from a computer template) don't give you full coverage (ie: it doesn't cover all the way to the edges and underneath a bit). manual cutting would insure that you get all the edges and wrapped underneath. given a choice, i would go with manual cutting.

how do i know? i got the pre-cut template venture shield installed, very tiny gap at the edges. guess where i got a tiny rock chip?
