Open hatch in rx350

Open hatch in rx350
I cannot open the back of the rx unless the engine is turned off (even when not in gear). Anyone else have that issue?

you also need to keep pressing the button for a couple of seconds.

It needs to be in park, you need to press "unlock doors", and then hold down the button for ~ 3 seconds.
