Question Option packages

Hi Folks. Wanted to ask a question about packages and certain options. I am from Canada and so it may be different for Americans. This is more about specific options.
In Canada we have five packages available. Two interest me: The Touring and The Ultra Premium. The difference between the two is $7,000.00 in Canadian bucks.
The only options that interest me (not sure if I have 7 grand interest!) are:
1) Mark Levinson sound system. Really that much better than 12 speaker? I LOVE music.
2) What is intuitive parking assist?
3) VDIM. Worth it?
4) Heads up display. LOVE this in vettes that I have rented.
5) Wide view side monitor? Helpful or just a gimmick? I really like rear view cameras for parking lots.
6) Premium leather seats. A LOT nicer than normal leather?
7) Front seat power thigh extension. I don't have really long legs. Much use?
8) Front illuminated door sills. Just decorative right?

I would like to hear from people that have these options and whether they are happy they forked out the bucks. I am taking a test drive tomorrow in an Ultra Premium.

Thanks for any input!

See below...
1) Sounds better than the other 2 systems. Worth it for me
2) Sonar sensors on front/rear of car. Diagram of car in nav and center display (between speed/tach) shows proximity.
3) In US only available with Sports package. I wanted Luxury more than sports.
4) Have it and really like it.
5) Camera under right sideview mirror. Helps with parallel parking occasionally. Nice but not as great as Lexus makes it out to be. Infiniti's system is much better.
6) Definitely.
7) Not really.
8) Yup.

Good to hear. I will test tomorrow.

That sounds cool.

I think all cars should have this.
5) Camera under right sideview mirror. Helps with parallel parking occasionally. Nice but not as great as Lexus makes it out to be. Infiniti's system is much better.
That's what I thought.
6) Definitely.
I'll see (feel) tomorrow.
Thanks for the reply. I am not sure that five or six of the above options are worth 7k to me though. have to wait and see for tomorrow.

I got a 2025 RX450h+ (US) on the last of Dec 2024. The plug-in hybrid starts with the top end Luxury package so there’s not much I don’t have on it. It’s my 4th new Lexus in over 20 years, so I obviously like the brand.

As to options, the IPS is a MUST HAVE - Not even negotiable. It’s a lot better than the one on my 2013 GS, which was already pretty good. And for an SUV, you need it.

The ML is good, but I can’t honestly say it’s noticeably better than the regular premium. Lot

hziemba - you posted in the wrong generation forum. You bought a 5th gen RX, this is the 3rd gen forum and you are responding to 16 years old posts which guarantees none of those folks have been on this forum in years as they have less than 15 posts.
