I am interested in buying a 2002 with the Levinson/leather package. Seems to me that the dealers are only ordering the levinson with navigation (which I don't want). Some have even denied the existence of such a Levinson/leather package.

Do any of you know how or where I can get my hands on one and not pay a premium?

They may mean there's no official "package" that includes leather and the Levinson system. But of course you can get the two together, as 99.9% of the cars with Levinson have the leather.

ES300s are made in 3-4 different option levels, which can vary between regions.

If you want Levinson but not the NAV, you'll need to special order the car. Takes up to 3 months for this. But once you've decided to special order, you can pretty much configure the car any way you want it.
