Im not sure if posting here is the right place. I have a 2007 RX 350 and it is quiet. The problem is that all 4 windows stick to the window moldings and actually thump or pop when you use the power windows to bring them down. They have been cleaned and brought back to the dealer several times. The last time they basically told my husband its a design flaw and that Lexus has come out with new moldings, but that its not covered under our warranty and that we should contact Lexus. Does this sound right and has anyone else had this problem.
I am worried that #1. the motor may go out on each of these windows because the sticking into the molding is severe and #2. that the windows themselves at some point may explode and shatter into my childrens faces! I live in South Florida so it is hot here, pretty much year round and the car is kept in the driveway or garages. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Since you have a 2007, it would probably be better for you to post in the second generation forum where there are people who have your model and may have had similar experiences'
