Default temporary front license plate holder

Does anyone have a idea, on how to place a front license plate without drilling holes. Placement, temporary only. Appreciate any suggestion. 2010 rx black sapphire, residing in a state, requiring a front plate.

To those who need it, I thought motor vehicles dept. requires all cars to secure their front license plates, which means it's illegal to hang or use any other ways to place your front license plate. And most of cars will prepare the holes already in the front. I assume RX has holes already. Dunno if Lexus RX has the covers on those holes. I really doubt my Lexus dealer drilled holes in order to set up my front one.

I need to get back to the dealer's lot to check it... umm.

Those don't have the front license plate, please check... thanks a lot.

I own a 2008 LS460L and I live in a state that supposedly requires front license plates. When I picked up my car in December of 2007, I was told by the salesman that rather than mounting (requires drilling holes) the front plate, why don't you try to go without it. I heeded his advice and I have never been stopped. It really looks like they don't really enforce this rule (at least in Iowa). BTW, I keep the front plate under the rug in my trunk just in case I get stopped.

In Virginia they relly enforce it, as they are always looking for a quick source of revenue. I could not drive a week in this state without getting a citation for failure to have a front tag!! The bumpers do not have pre-drilled holes.

For those who do have holes drilled into the front bumper and who don't want to or need to display a front plate, you can improve the appearance by getting plugs at www.bumperblugs.com, which also has a nice flat (but easily removable) plug for that driver's door keyhole that you never use.
Highly recommended.
