RX350 Transmission
Has anyone that has purchased a new 2010 RX experienced any hesitation or hunting for the proper gear from the transmission at slow parking lot speeds
when accelerating from an almost stop (5mph)? Is the new 6 speed any better the previous 5 speed.? I haven't driven one yet but these forums are great. Enjoy the straight forward replys. Really appreciate any info on this subject.
Thanks.

Many ppl said this car has AI which will learn your habits and style of driving, and the input of your pedal. I'm not sure if this will go against the situations as you just described above.
Well, so far my car is acting pretty well. Except the loud engine noise (warm-up, uphills, or low gears), my tranny seems to run pretty smooth/quiet/responsive.
However, I'm the one following "rules of Breaking-in". So, my car may be different.

it is much better then the old 5 speed transmition. Old one, had one very big minus - when slowing down (expl. to make a turn with little speed) and then again pressing accelerator for faster speed up it used just to jump very unsmothly with big jerk..u had to be very carefull on such situation when drinking coffe or something like that...
