Default transmission squeak

I have started getting a squeak in my transmission, under fast acceleration shifts from 1st to second. Also, if I leave the shifter in 2 and accelerate rapidly and then back off, I will hear the sqeak. The transmission fluid was changed by the dealer 10 thousand mile ago. Other than the squeak, transmission shifts and runs fine. This noise only happens when the car has been driven for awhile.

No, I am not sure it is the transmission. It sounds like it is coming from the transmission. It just "feels" like it is the transmission.

Have the transmission mounting checked out, they are prone to the rubber going and leaving the mount "metal on metal" which gets noisy.

Thank you London Bill, the sound is almost like a belt squeak.
It does not do it, when the car is reved in neutral. Only under a fast acceleration at shifting point or leaving it in shift position 2 and accelerating, then taking your foot off the gas it will make that squeak or chirp. Would what you are talking about make that sound under those conditions only?

Quite possibly it would if worn as the torque change from drive to overrun causes the engine/gearbox to shift around, it could be a worn engine mount though, get it checked out.
