It almost made me cry. Last Saturday the wife and I were taking a sick cat to the emergency vet and about a half mile outside my neighborhood, a huge buck leaped off a hill directly into our beloved 2015 RX while I was going about 55mph. Shockingly, the airbags didn't blow, and I will investigate why. But anyhow, we have an appt with body shop on Tuesday for estimate. And the kicker is, because they have so many cars scheduled because of other deer crashes, they cannot start work until Feb. 16. Geeez..thankfully we have my GS 350 to use meanwhile. So thoughts on the damage that you can see in pics. Its driveable, but I am hoping its not totalled. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

 

From the looks of it, here does not seem to be any structural damage. Since the impact did not affect the bumper [not talking about the plastic cover] your airbag did not deploy [and that very fact may not total your vehicle.].
