Unhappy Worst week ever. What should I do? (with pics)

So to cap everything off, my baby gets hit last night. I have no idea what I should do...where to go to get this fixed and whatnot. I've never been in an accident before...and I'm super shaken. I got my car from ParkPlace in Plano, TX ... are there any reliable body shops around that area?? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Don't worry about the car buddy, are you okay?
All that matters is that you're okay. A car can be repaired, a human is a little more hard.

I agree. Are you ok?

It can be repaired, nothing to worry about it. It is important that you are safe and well.

I think you can call your insurance and start from there. Or other party insurance and start from there.

Why are you confused about what to do? You were in an accident involving another car from what I gather... you got their insurance information, right? Call them. File a claim.

I'd tend to get the car fixed where you bought it. Lexus would tend to have the parts available before an independent shop would.

BTW, I also bought from Park Place in Plano, and I'm sure their body shop is top notch. Just tell your insurance agent you want it repaired there and there should be no problem.

As long as you are okay, that's the most important thing.

I completely feel your pain. I was hit in the same spot but on the driver side just 6 days after picking up my brand new IS. Talk to your Lexus dealership, and ask them where they would recommend. I took my car to the recommended collision center, and they did a FANTASTIC job. I am so sorry to see this, but it is completely fixable.

I hope this week goes better, sweetie!

I would highly push for Park Place Collision Center. I believe its off Lemmon Ave. The downside is they are very expensive but as long as there is insurance in the picture you should be fine. Email me if you need any help I'm always in that area. Mkhat230@hotmail.com.

Good luck

Moe.

Just a little damage to the skin. That's nothing. Once you get it back from the body shop, you'll never know the difference.

Hey, I actually know someone from another automotive message board that lives in Plano, TX. I'll give him a shout and see if he has any recommendations on body shops.

Like everyone says don't worry about the car atleast your ok. Try to ask around for a good body shop in your area. Pretty sure people will send you to a right place. I see you have GFM, might be hard to match paint the car. GL
