Welcome to CL. What year RX?

You have to go advanced to load a photo.
Which brake light?
Please post a picture as there are multiple brake light bulbs.
You can google and your make + model +yr and see which matches your blown bulb .... you need to order the replacement too.
Twist type bulbs are not popular now and they have been replaced with wedge type ones. The bulbs are pushed into the socket [wedged in]. If the bulb is exposed/acessable, You simply hold the bulb and pull it out of socket. Some cases the socket has to pulled out of the housing.
If the bulb is a sequence of LEDs, then the whole strip has to be replaced. Paying some one to replace one or more led can be expensive.

no plug on the red/ blue wire, looks like I'd have to cut the wires if I was to replace whole assembly.. just a rubber boot that goes around wires and forms water seal. Other bulbs removed.
tried removing the clear lens by taking off 5 screws which I thought may have held grey assembly in place, but looks like additional sealant keeps lens attached.
there is a window that was covered with a paper like membrane I thought was an access for the bulb, however it doesn't provide any service (straight below red/blue wires in photo, you can see red)

Have the blue/red going to brake light
Wow. What a hassle to get to the taillight bulbs. Been driving since 1969 and we have never owned a vehicle that requires so much disassembly just to change bulbs. Sheesh.
For my 1999 Ram, you just drop the tailgate and remove two 10mm nuts to pop out either side of the rear taillight assemblies. Takes about one minute to install new bulbs as a result.
Nothing to lose, so cut red/blue wires. Was able to carefully place a flat blade between clear lens and fixtures, with small steps popped clear cover off. Removed the screws on the back, and was able to access internals. LED stop light, and had a bad solder joint going into a resistor board. Replaced the wires and Used clear silicon to seal clear cover back on, with 2 dabs of UV superglue "just in case"
<WARNING>. Had a fingerprint on the silver paint. LET IT BE. That paint is like 3 atoms thick, and rubs off real easy Have the blue/red going to brake light
BRAVO !! I tend to take it as a challenge when they tell me That needs to be replaced, It can't be Fixed!
Usually, I find a way to fix it. Like you said, nothing to lose, it's already broke!
