I tried at 2 retail auto part dealers to get a brake light bulb. They couldn't find any replacement in their catalogs. Can I replace only the bulb and where's a good place to find one?

If you're mentioning the actual right and left tail lamps you must replace whole assembly (runs on LEDs).. For light on rear windshield you simply replace standard bulb

 

On my HS the inner rear brake light assemblies on the trunk lid had several non-functioning LEDs on each side. I bought new replacement assemblies for about $200 each online. That is the only fix unless you know how to take the light assembly apart and replace individual LED bulbs, which requires some soldering I think.
