Jerking if oil change is due. Reason for behavior
I noticed a curious behaviour on my 3rd generation RX350 (2010-2015). Mine is at 125,000 miles.
The recommended oil change interval is 10,000 miles for full synthetic oil. When it gets close to the oil change interval (around 9,500 miles or sometime slightly over 10,000 miles), the vehicle starts a noticeable jerking when moving between certain specific low gears at low speed (I think between gear 1 and 2) below 20 mph when accelerating. This jerking disappears after the oil change is done.
Does anyone know why this happens?
