My point exactly!!!!

Please do not stretch the truth when it may waste someone money; like how you stated that you (and wife)were using a specific $20 cup adapter to hold 36oz tumblers successfully in a 2010-2015 RX350 that you did not really use at all it seem..

No need to lie to make a post. You could have just posted that you found a cup holder adapter that "may" work being sold on Amazon .com.

Dude - it was a joke, Congress says it all the time. Lighten up Francis. Ya, that is another joke. Amazon has free returns if something doesn't fit. Wish I had time to debate over a cup holder but I got better things to do. . Perhaps you should activate the ignore my posts setting if they bother you that much.

I wanted to update you all...I found a cupholder that actually works. It's a different style than the one I use in my truck. It's not quite as secure but it is tight enough that the water bottle isn't going anywhere. I hope this is helpful to someone else. Below is a pic of the cupholder with my Yeti and a link to the one I bought. I took some videos to demonstrate it is tight enough to function but cannot upload .MP4 here. Also I did have to offset it which was easy.

I also linked to a really awesome phone holder that fits perfectly over the hazard light button on the dash in case anyone is looking for one of those.

Quote: Post pic of that adapter with a 36oz tumbler in your RX350 cup holder actually being used without the lid door blocking it please.

I want to see the adapter in action before I purchase one for my 2015 RX350 to hold my large bottles.
Hi I found one that works and posted the link and some pics above.

cup holder
Quote: Bought my wife a Lexus RX350 as a present for having our son. Her 36oz Yeti tumbler does not fit in the center console cup holder. This cup holder seems to suck, frankly.

In my Tacoma I use a cup holder adapter that fits my same Yeti but when I tried it in the RX is didn't work at all. The tray lid interferes plus the cup holder isn't round.

Does anyone have a link to an adapter that will work in the 3rd gen RX? I appreciate any help. Thanks!

I bought one on ebay motors and it fits existing console perfectly. Your wife may have to use a smaller diameter coffee cup however.
