First you have to ask the mechanic if you can supply your own parts. On a hybrid the pads may last 100,000 miles, but the rears tend to go first on the RX. I would just replace the rear brake pads and have the shop change the brake fluid on the entire system. If you want to replace the rotors get some that are coated to reduce rust. Rock Auto has them. You may want to replace them considering the age and mileage on the RX. Don't waste money on drilled or slotted rotors on this car. They are just noisy and don't help you stop faster. You have regenerative brakes that do much of the stopping work and are why brake pads last almost forever on a hybrid.
If buying pads yourself at Rock Auto you may want to get Akebono or Advics brake pads as they are the original equipment suppliers to Lexus. They should come with new hardware clips etc. Or ask the Mechanic to get either of those brands of brake pads.
I have had good luck with Raybestos Element 3 hybrid brake pads and have them on my Lexus HS250h hybrid sedan. I have put them on several vehicles. They also supply the clips etc.
