RX350 or RDX
My wife is looking to turn her lease Honda Accord back in and she wants a SUV she is a Fan of her Honda's.
Currently looking at a 2014 Acura RDX with 59K or a 2011 RX350 with 43K
I'm trying to figure what would be more reliability and a better option. I would assume most her will say the Lexus being a Lexus form.
Only reason i want her to get the RX350 is since I have one as well but a 2010.
I'm assuming both are good options since one is a Honda and one is a Totyota

I found this article on the 2014 RDX

and this one on the 2011 RX350
Here Are The Lexus RX 350 Years To Avoid - CoPilot
Not sure if size is a factor for your wife (if you’ve got kiddos and/or pets to haul around)
but I equate the RDX to the NX — both are compact SUVs and the RX to the MDX — both midsize SUVs.
So in that respect, I would consider the size first that would suit your wife’s needs better, then decide on the most reliable MY for her and go from there…

The RDX has a timing belt. You need to find out if and when it was changed. The replacement schedule is 84 months (7 years) or 105,000 miles. But 60,000 miles if subject to extreme cold. This is about a $1000 job.
So it is due if it has not been changed. You can use this to negotiate the sales price lower.
