Hi community. This is a 2015 RX and both key fobs have become intermittent. Sometimes they will lock or unlock the car at 20 feet but a lot of the time they won't. Usually they will start the car, but sometimes the dash says "no key detected". I think touch the handle works fairly reliably but I'm not sure.

This is BOTH FOBS. They both have new batteries and have been cleaned as per instructions in another thread. I think this has to be the car. And it's intermittent. So you can imagine the tech's face when it works perfectly for him, but the next day at home it doesn't.
Anybody know anything about the vehicle side of the RF?

 

I had this same problem, and was told it was the fob. In that case I only had one. When I changed the car's battery, the problem went away.

Might make sense to look at the battery.
