Default Front Wiper Linkage Bushings/Nut Missing

Previous owner somehow broke the fasteners on the passenger wiper linkage where it has 2 caps visible right at the hood line. So it's not the single bolt that attaches the actual wiper arm; but the linkage below it, on the passenger side.
I went to Lexus website but I can't enlarge the photo enough to be legible and parts description comes up with tons of unrelated items.
My problem is the arm looks like it wants a Nylon/plastic cup not a bolt.
I was able to find a Dorman item similar but have no exact Lexus match #49465
I'll add some photo's asap
I did a forum search with no related posts so I'd appreciate anyone's help or comment.
Thanks, have a great day
Hary

What year is your car? This diagram gives enough detail

I checked the parts catalogue for 04-09 RX and it's sold with the linkage - not separately. You would have to get it from a 2004-2009 Lexus RX at the junkyard, maybe other Toyota / Lexus might use those fasteners too in the linkage.

we have a 2007 and if the Lexus schematic is correct it’s part # 85178 but the arm has no hole or threads more suited to a nylon snap on cap like the Dorman bushings

85178 is the nut that holds the linkage to the car. I’ll go look at my car

My car has nothing like that ^ .
The outside diameter is probably close to a water bottle cap and the arm has something like double sided foam tape around the hole.

There's no part available for it as it comes with 85211-48080 / 85211-0E010 (not linkage but the passenger arm itself). Do you still have the plastic piece?

I just bought the car and hadn’t noticed the difference until you pointed it out the entire cap was missing.
I’ll have to buy a brand new unit. I checked the recycle yards within our entire Wa. State no one has it and buy the time I pay shipping for a used one the cost is almost the equivalent of new. Also it doesn’t look good if I try to 3D post caps.
There’s no damage to the cowl or hood and it has the original window. I can’t figure what strange circumstance would’ve caused this but WTH !
Thanks for the post MattRX 👍🏻
