Default Wheel colors

I'm looking to have my factory wheels powder coated, I was thinking hyper silver gray or black.

Any suggestion or pics would be greatly appreciated.

IDK what it costs to bust down the tires & powder coat your 17'' wheels vs getting a set of 18'' wheels.....+ 18's allow you to upgrade to a direct bolt on gen3 brake setup = two piston calipers vs single piston calipers, bigger pad surface area= #1005 vs #1324 pads willshow you as well as 12.6'' vs 12.9'' rotors.......great time to swap out the oem brake hoses w/ ss hoses as well as flush out the old fluid w/ new dot 3...Big difference in pedal feel as well as stopping power.....The rotors/pads are pretty much awash price wise, just need a pr of reman gen 3 calipers.....Its not a performance vehicle, so no big $ BBK.......So I'd put your $ torwards worth while upgrades.....

Both my Highlander and 08 RX have those same RX 17s. I think they look nice but the 6.5" width makes even the 225 tires roll over quite a little. The newer RX350s from 2010-2015 have some nice looking 18" wheels that are a whole inch wider at 7.5". Makes a massive handling difference. The 2016-2022 RX350's 18" wheels are 8" wide with an offset 5mm lower than stock. Really stands out in a classy way and the 8" width allows me to run 245s and still have great response in steering/handling without bulging. The 2016-2022 RX wheels don't require longer wheel studs, but I felt safer to put them on as they are a little wide for the OEM wheel studs. Gun metal gray looked good on my RX when I put our 2014 RX350's wheels on.

I can also vouch for the brake upgrade I have the same setup as Felix in the front, 3rd gen dual piston calipers with stainless steel brake lines F & R and some higher friction rating brake pads really wake it up. I went one step further and went with vented IS350 rear rotors and Euro RX450h calipers but that's a little overkill and the front is where the biggest difference is felt.

2016-2022 RX 18x8" wheels

2013-2015 RX F-Sport 19x7.5 wheels (Bad pic should have taken more when I had them on the car. They're gun metal gray)

Maybe consider "Plastidip", that way if you don't like the look of a certain color then you can change it.

Yes, they're hub-centric too so no rings required. Looks nice and factory for an aftermarket wheel!
