Finally got the amartisan 13 piece bolt extractor kit in and let me say… I WAS BEYOND IMPRESSED! They were all made for 3/8” anvils but I took that thing, hammered it on the hex cap bolt, snapped a 3/8” male to 1/3”female adapter on hooked that up to a wobble adapter and then a 3” extension and then my Ryobi p262 impact had it spinning in one second. I was worried that the amount of space I had between the edge of the bolt cap and the intake plenum wouldn’t be enough to get the extractor on but thankfully I had just enough space. The extractor worked so good at biting on the bolt that I almost couldn’t get the fastener out of its jaws after it came off!
here you can see the bite marks left by the fluted extractor teeth
this tool was definitely worth the $26.99 it sold for. Especially considering i saw that it performed better than the $260 version snap on sells on the project farm channel.
timmotow I’m going to get the steering gear disconnected then start working on the exhaust, driveshaft and front drive axels. I might just be spraying some pb blaster on everything and then doing the actual removal on Saturday but with a 20 year old car that’s the best way to go about this endeavor.
wish me luck.

Awesome, I knew you could do it.
I don't have any of these in my tool box yet but I'm thinking about getting some.
If you feel these are "must have tools" plz consider adding them with description, pics, price, and where you got them at the "must have tools" thread if you feel like it.
