Body Side Molding Replacement
My son has had our old 2007 RX350 for a few years. It's mainly been a spare vehicle for him since he had a company car. Recently after a trip through the car wash, the molding on the passenger side rear door fell off.
The car is silver and I think the part number I need is 75741-0E010-B0.
Has anybody ever replaced one of these pieces?
Does it snap in place? Or maybe double stick taped on?
He's driving it home soon and I want to have everything I need on hand to fix it.

Most moldings are sticky backtaped on......I'd use 3M double back tape......or you could remove the other ones......of course you'll need to remove the leftover adhesive, 3M has adhesive remover or you could use Goo Gone.......
haha not trying to put you on the spot but I like to see your work before and after if that possible in case I need to do mine.
If you can't that's ok, just asking.
Scraped old tape off with a plastic scraper. Used some goo gone on a rag to clean up a little leftover residue. Used a clay bar and quick detailer to make sure surface was as clean as I could get it. Wiped down with alcohol, peeled backing off tape, and stuck it on.
So easy I didn't bother with pics.

So you're saying, "So Easy A Caveman Can Do It".
Haha, I can do this!. Thank You
