I take it your rx has the optional trans cooler? So w/ that I have no idea as our rx has no additional trans cooler. I'd scuff up those steel lines & paint them & possibly replace the rubber hoses.
I am replacing them with oil coolers I am not keeping that crusty looking thing lol, the longer one is for the transmission and the short one of for the power steering I think.

Don't know if this helps but I took a pic of mine- it has factory trans cooler.

comes from the tranny to the radiator and then the cooler first or vice versa.
PS- I'd like to remove the old cooler and put a new one too so if anyone has done this please share what you did and the cooler you got plz.
