Default why this!!!

Why does it seem like everything needs fixing on my rx all at once!!! I mean geez; first; the high pressure ps hose blew up on me; then the 2 idler pulleys needed to be replaced; and now Ive got a seeping transfer case that could have been and still is slowly leaking for who knows how long!!! What next!!!! i mean why does it seem like all the sudden i got myself into a "money pit". I mean yes i know its a older rx; but still; i mean geez.

Don't worry ... you will also need to (eventually) replace the rack and pinion....runs about $1700 at the dealer.

this is why im looking towards a newer 3rd gen rx350. a 2010 with 102,000 on it. and this time IF i end up with it; Im gonna make sure to get a aftermarket extended warranty so if and when stuff comes up i only have the deductible to pay.

Im just about at my breaking point with this second generation rx350. After dealing with what’s looking like close to 2,000 in repairs between what’s already been done and the fact I still have the transfer case resealed which is another 1800-2500 bucks so it’s either pay to get my current one fixed which isn’t a cheap thing! Or just trade this one in towards a nicer 3rd gen which I’m looking at on Saturday
