Knock sensor problems
I replaced both knock sensors and harness on a 05 rx330. The person bought 2 knock sensors from Amazon the harness was from Lexus which I told them NOT to do(the sensors) but I put in anyway. I got job done and started car up. The engine was knocking like something fell into one of the cylinders. Shut car off and hard time cranking like timing was way off. I ripped everything apart again and pulled plugs. Looked into each cylinder to see if I dropped anything in there with a inspection camera and found nothing in any cylinder or any damage. With plugs out car cranks fine of course. I had no missing parts or tools. Anyone else have this happen? Can the knock sensor take the timing that far outta wack?
