Default How many quarts?

I have a 2007 RX 350. Can someone tell me how many quarts of WS fluid I will need if I drop the pan and change the filter on the transmission?

You can measure how much fluid came out and replace
Usually 4-5 quarts

Thanks, the problem is, I'm not doing the work. I'm taking it to my transmission mechanic. I am buying the fluid and he is doing the work. So, I need to know in advance.

Word is, they are very sensitive to ATF volume. hence, word of wisdom is to replace EXACTLY same amount that was drained out.

I think you should double check the specs in your owner's manual regarding the amount and the type of WS fluids. Always check in the owners manual and confirm with the shop.

The owners manual doesn't say how much to use because they don't want anyone changing the "lifetime" fluid. It does say it should be WS though.

My 2007 RX350 takes 3.5 quarts every drain and fill, so 4 quarts should be plenty.
