Default aging 2006 rx330 refresh

My 2006 rx330 thundercloud ed starting to show it's age. Took off the faded roof rack and repainted plastic rim covers. Good for another 100K.

Thanks. I don't want to buy a new car so I need to take care of what I have. It's a hand me down from my wife but fell in love with it after doing many maintenance and repairs watching youtube and such. Hopefully it will be around for few more years.

There were only a few Thunderclouds out there, you are one the lucky few. Looks good. I shaved my RX eons ago, when I started noticing that the newer SUVs were coming out without the racks. I wonder if the conversion kits are still being sold, I guess they are, you used a set right?

Hello mandyfig,
I didn't purchase a kit but ordered parts needed. I read post how to remove and what parts were needed. If you follow the link, it shows the website where I purchased the covers. I found screws that fit in my garage and used some silicon to keep water out. The business is from middle east! surprised I even received them.
