Recently just purchased a 2007 rx400h and I want to change the stereo unit as I need an AUX jack. I have the model with ML audio, rear seat DVD, and navigation. On Sonic Electronix I apparently can't have any unit (single or double din) because of this package.

Was wondering if anyone had any luck with installing an aftermarket car stereo units (preferably a double din with apple car play/android auto) in their 2007 rx400h. Will greatly appreciate the help.

 

Checkout the video on the link below. It will give you some idea of what you are facing. I have a 2008 RX400h and plan on replacing my stereo also. I do not have ML audio or the DVD but I do have Navigation. A single DIN unit would work, but if you want to integrate a Double DIN DVD head unit with your current setup I think the main thing you will need is a wiring diagram that shows how to connect everything.

I recently had a Pioneer 7200nex nav and like it alot. It sounds way better than my ML stereo .
