Default Used 2008 RX 350???

I’m currently looking at used RX 350s and found a 2008 for $9,977 with 119,582 miles. CarFax looks pretty clean, well maintained from time of purchase with regular maintenance. Minor accident that left no cosmetic or internal damage. Only two previous owners. My family has said don’t buy a used car for over 100k miles, but I’m very interested in Lexus and know they last long if maintained properly.
Is this a good deal or should I keep looking?

On the same boat. Just purchased a 2008 RX350 with 102k. Excellent condition and seems well maintained from what I looked and tested. Just to be safe I’m going to change the Sepentine belt and once 120k hits or next summer for sure I’m going to do the waterpump and spark plugs.

I would go for it. Lexus maintained easily last for 180k+.

yes i believe it is a good deal. What your family doesnt understand is that lexus especially the older ones like these second generation rx's will just go and go and go and go some more with proper maintenance just like anything motorized and gas powered. As far as the accident; if u are still strongly considering it; be sure to take it to a reputable inspection place to have it thoroughly inspected to make sure the accident did not cause any major damage that cannot be seen without putting it on a lift. If it looks good after the inspection then i would say its probably a good buy.

I got an RX330 with 170k miles and it still feels well put together and could easily go another 200-300k miles.

I was suprised by how well it's holding up as well because all my previous cars (even Toyota) that I've owned started having problems by 100k miles.

I would say 10k for a late model RX350 is a good deal. Mileage seems to be irrelevant to quality as long as the owner kept up with all maintenance items.
