First off, I'd like to say hello and hopefully after this thread I will be a Lexus owner.

My wife and I have been looking for a used car preferably a 2008/09 RX350 with 50k miles or less. But, I came across an Auto-Trader ad for an RX 400h 2WD with 69k miles for $20,995. According to the Car FAX it was owned by 2 owners and never been in an accident. The SUV is in another city and I have yet to see the car in person. Is this a good deal and worth driving out to see?

What year is it? 06's are worth less than 07-08's.

 

Just curious, are you sure it's a 2WD?
I'm not sure about US versions, but here in Europe, the 400h was only available as a 4WD, (though it's a rather peculiar 4WD system, with only the electric motor on the rear axle).

No they came in both versions. Hey great price for a 2008....I love my RX400h...bought it with 88k miles and now have 123k....It is a sweet ride.

 

Seems like a good price for an 08 with 69k miles. I would check out the vehicle's condition, options, etc. Look at ebay, autotrader, cars.com for comps. That should give you some perspective on the value equation. I always try to take the emotion out of the decision-making process and let the data drive the ultimate decision.
