Default RX 350 2008 ultra prem. + nav

Thinking about purchasing an RX with 83 K/52 M. Am selling my BMW x5 2004 (having major issues). For those who own an RX am I making a good choice? What can I expect in terms of it breaking down/maintenance/the drive?

I think he meant 83,000 km or 52,000 miles. I purchased my 2007 with 53,000 miles last year and it has been great. You should be able to get a good deal since the factory warranty just ended. Maintainence is pretty decent... oil change interval every 5,000 miles. lifetime transmission fluid (unless you use for towing), and havent heard about any AWD issues, if this model is equipped. Handles great with a nice set of tires (see related threads on different tire choices).

Major complaints are usually about rattles, but Im not sure if those were fixed or not in 2008?

I think the RX is a great vehicle as I am sure so many other members will agree. How much is the vehicle costing?

The RX beats BMW hands down in terms of reliability. Go for it!

In general the RX is a very good car. But you aren't buying in general, so be sure to have the 1 you are thinking of buying looked at very carefully. But I agree the odds are with you and I wish you good fortune with it.

Did you purchase the RX? If so, what price did you get it for?
