Cool Wheel size for @004 RX 330

I am looking to buy some 18" summer rims for my Lexus SUV. I am having trouble finding factory rims at a reasonable price so I am looking at after market rims. I have found a set at a good price at CANADA WHEELS.ca. But here is my question they have the right offset (35mm) but they are 8"" wide. The factory spec for the 18" rim is for it to be 7" wide. Will this Rim work for me? any advice or opinions appreciated. thanks

Hi. Welcome. First, this thread has been moved to the 2RX forum to get you better visibility and responses.

Second, an 8" wide wheel will fit with the same offset but you will want to get wider tires like 245/55/18 instead of 235/55/18.

Happy shopping!

Cool RX330 Wheel width

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I would not have thought about going with the 245/55 instead of 235/55. the idea of getting a wider profile tire sounds a good idea.

No problem. You could also venture into a 255 but a 55-series tire would be borderline tall and make a fairly noticeable difference to your speedometer/odometer. 255/50/18 would also be good but fewer pricier options available.

Check them all out. All from Canada (no duty fees) and some offer free shipping too. I've bought from all of them over the years and vendor selection came down to specific tire/wheel package pricing and availability.

Happy shopping!
