Default HDD troubleshooting

It is too mysterious that some CD does not record into hdd player. It is not something to do with the format since my CD is with mp3 format. I have 3 CD need to record it. Unfortunately, only 1 CD can record into and the rest are error. But, if it is play without recording, it works.
Could anyone please solve this mystery? Thank you

Load your MP3 music onto a flash drive instead, and insert it into the USB port hidden deep inside the center console (armrest) storage area. Only have a single layer of folders as the Lexus system is too crude to read folders with music within other folders.
Please advise your model year.

Sorry. My car model year is 2009 so there is no USB flash drive in the storage area. I wonder if it is has something to do with irregular alphabet or long name or many soundtrack?

Isn't 2009 2nd generation? You're in the 3rd generation subforum.

Correct. I have no idea if there is a 2nd generation subforum and I don't know about it yet. I am just a new member recently.

If this actually translates to "Some of the CD-R disks I've recorded don't work in the car's player", I would suggest trying a different brand of CD-R or using a different drive to record the things.

FWIW, Taiyo Yuden media has always worked very well for me, but I have not had any problems in recent history as quality control has improved quite a bit compared to 25 years ago.

Make sure you are using CD-R disks and not CD-RW. Also try recording one or two less songs on the CD.

I agree that sometimes it told about the brand. I will try it
