Default Squeaky steering wheel?

Hi everyone,

l have recently added a 2007 RX 350 to my "Lexus collection" but often, when I put the key in the ignition, I notice a squeaking as the steering wheel moves into position.

What is the best way to lubricate this to silence it?

My RX seems to squeal (not that often) only in warmer temperatures, most likely some plastic rubbing therefore no real cure with lubrication.

You can always put some lube on the plastic,,myself I took off the steering cover couple screws, work slowly,,you have to rotate the wheel side to side to get access to it looking from the seat at the steering,,take the cover off clean the mechanisms with hoover,,put some lithium grease when the wheel is not retracted in ,on the rotating screws..see how things work for you
