very light brake drag - is it the calipers?
Was getting some dragging noise from the front left. I replaced the rotors and pads but am still having the light dragging sound. I did notice when changing the pads/rotors that one of the caliper guide pins were pretty tight. I cleaned up the pin and relubed it, but still having the same issue.
I am guessing the calipers are slightly sticking? causing the pads to rest on the rotor and hearing the dragging sound?
So far it does not seem to affect brake performance and I can still turn the wheel fairly easily. just the annoying "cheuu cheuu" sound. The sound is gone when pushing on the brake pedal. its only apparent when the brake is not applied.
Should I go ahead and replace the caliper or could something else be causing this?

My first guess would be due to the age of the vehicle and where you live...it's the caliper.

If you have a temp infared guage, you could take a road trip, and stop and measure temp on opposite wheel and problem wheel. If the brake caliper isn't releasing than the temp should be a lot higher. on bad side.

I normally change the brakes myself and usually bleed the brakes once each brake change which is 3-4 years. So I didn't bother bleeding brakes this time since it was only done 1.5 years ago by mechanic.

Also after bedding in the brakes, the scraping sound has definitely gone a lot quieter (this wasn't because of new pads/rotors since the old ones were making the sound before i changed it) I am thinking maybe by hard braking when i was bedding in the brakes, it may have broke free the slightly seized caliper?
