Wing Mirror Fault - Folds Forward
Hi,
Long term lurker - but am keen to try and diagnose and fix this problem without paying a Lexus Dealer.
I have a fault with the driver side wing mirror. They are electric folding mirrors. When I push the bottom to fold the mirrors from closed to open the right wing mirror continues to travel beyond the 90 degrees and ends up facing forwards.
To confuse matters this also occurs when the key is turned from off to on. For example, with both mirrors will be in the out/driving position when the key is turned the right hand mirror will turn all the way forwards. The left-hand mirror stays stationary as it should.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
