Hi All, I have an 05 RX330, about 2 nights ago, my AFS OFF light came on and the VSC Trac OFF lights as well as the check engine light. I have figured out the solution on how to fix the AFS OFF light issue, check!. What I am not sure about is the VSC Trac OFF lights, I have double checked the gas cap to make sure it was on correctly and sealed. I am getting an error code P0420 when I check the onboard computer. Would appreciate any feedback on this.

 

That code has nothing to do with the gas cap, that's a bank 1 cat efficiency code. In all likelihood probably an O2 sensor getting old and slow to respond. Clear it out and drive the car. If it comes back you'll have to check out streaming data and see what the O2 sensors on that side are doing.

 

Get them re-set and wait when they come back. Some of them never come back.
