AC fan loud rattling noise
On my 2007 RX350, I turned AC on and got a very loud, rattling noise from blower in passenger area. Noise is driven by speed of the blower fan (with and without AC on). It is not a whining sound, it is loud and rattles entire right side. Anyone with same experience...solution?

Sounds like debris fell into the fan cage. The cabin filter may have been removed and was full of leaves, etc. and fell into the motor. You might be able to put a vacuum cleaner hose in there with the filter removed and get most of it out.

Mine too. But more in drivers side. Had dealership look at it and I'm told fan motor.
I've had the dealership look at it and also Firestone. I'm getting some very different quotes and answers. But both are in agreement that the radiator fan has gone bad and needs to be replaced. My question is is this a one piece assembly with two fans attached or can I just replace the bad one? Anyone know the answer?
